Scholarship description:

Prize for best composition for solo string instrument (violin, viola or cello) with or without piano accompaniment, no longer than 10 minutes. Open to any composer (male or female, member or nonmember). Winning composition is premiered at triennial national convention and published. Send manuscript. One-time award of $1000. Application fee: $35.
